Description:
Surface element control switch (infinite switch) used to regulate heat output to an 8-inch electric surface burner by cycling power on/off to maintain the selected setting. If a burner won’t heat, heats only on high/low, or cuts in/out, this switch is a common cause.
Installation Notes:
Shut off the power at the breaker. Pull the range forward, remove the rear control panel cover, and move wires one at a time from the old switch to the same terminal on the new switch (take a photo first). Reinstall the knob and verify the burner cycles normally.
