Description:
A replacement evaporator fan motor used in many Samsung and Samsung-OEM refrigerators and freezers. This fan circulates cold air over the evaporator coils and throughout the fridge/freezer compartments. A failed evaporator fan commonly causes frost buildup, weak cooling in the freezer, and poor refrigerator temperature performance. Replacing this assembly restores proper air movement and consistent cooling. (Typical usage in Samsung units such as those with bottom-mount or French-door designs.)
Installation Notes:
Disconnect power before servicing. Access the evaporator fan by removing the freezer back panel (inside the freezer compartment). You may need to temporarily defrost the evaporator cover to reach screws and wiring. Disconnect the fan motor harness, remove mounting screws, install the new fan assembly, secure wiring, and reassemble panels. Restore power and verify proper airflow.
