Description:
A replacement timer control knob for GE brand clothes dryers. This knob allows the user to manually select drying times and settings on compatible dryer models. A worn, cracked, or broken knob can make it difficult or impossible to change cycle settings, and replacing it restores smooth operation of the dryer’s control panel.
Installation Notes:
Disconnect power to the dryer before servicing. The timer knob slips onto the dryer’s timer shaft (typically D-shaped) and is secured in place, often with a small retaining clip. Pull off the old knob straight out (no twisting required) and press the new knob firmly onto the shaft until it seats. Confirm proper alignment and operation before restoring full power.
