Description:
A replacement bake/heating element for electric ovens and ranges. This coil-style oven element provides heat for baking and roasting. When the element is defective or burned out, the oven won’t reach or maintain proper temperature, leads to uneven cooking, or fails to heat at all. This is a direct replacement that restores consistent heat performance in ovens that use this design.
Installation Notes:
Before servicing any oven, disconnect all power at the breaker panel. Access to the bake element typically requires removal of the oven’s rear access panel or access through the front after removing racks and the bottom panel. The element installs with two male spade terminals and is normally mounted to the rear wall of the oven cavity. Check for secure electrical connections and ensure the oven cavity is clear of debris before powering up after installation.
